If you hadn’t heard, the Superman movie franchise is getting a reboot. They have just chosen a new director for the film that will be co-written by Christopher Nolan  (The Dark Knight).

Have you ever heard of the movie 300? How about The Watchmen? Then you have seen the work of director Zack Snyder. He has been chosen by Nolan to direct the latest reincarnation of the Man of Steel.

As a Superman NUT, I am extremely excited about this choice for director. With Christopher Nolan’s work on the Batman series and I have full faith that this next Superman movie will be what all the fans have been waiting 30 yrs to see.

Here is what Snyder had to say about taking the position…

“I’ve been a big fan of the character for a long time, he’s definitely the king of all superheroes, he’s the one. It’s early yet, but I can tell you that what David [Goyer] and Chris [Nolan] have done with the story so far definitely has given me a great insight into a way to make him feel modern. I’ve always felt he was kind of awesome. I’ll finish ‘Sucker Punch’ and get right at it.”
