Apparently tossing a few drinks back daily may be good for your brain. Also, don’t exercise too much and sleep 7 hours a night. Sounds like a great life right? Well according to a new study these things are good for your brain.
For every extra hour of sleep you get, up to seven hours, your speed and accuracy on test questions goes up 4%. Once you sleep MORE than seven hours though, your scores actually go down.
Exercising just once a week made people’s speed…
in answering questions go up almost 10%, and the accuracy of their answers went up almost 6%.
And people who had one or two drinks a day did BETTER than people who had zero drinks per day. At three drinks a day or more, though, test scores started going down.
