Lady Parts Are Expensive!

Everyday I wake up there are 2 things that I do immediately after opening my eyes. First I go to the bathroom, and second I reflect on how AWESOME it is to be a guy. Yes, we are dumb and slow and get a lot of grief for being heartless but we are also extremely low maintenance. Any guy who doesn’t admit that not giving birth is a great thing is a horrible person. On top of that, it is expensive to keep your lady parts maintained! I bet you didn’t even know that you spend over $2500 a year just on that part of your body did you? The website Jezebel.com calculated how much and on what you spend that money on. Click the jump to find out more reasons it is just fabulous being male.

Birth control, approximately $1,690 per year, or $130 for 13 packs.
Tampons, about $63 per year for nine boxes.
PMS relief, $21 for three bottles of Midol.
Pelvic exam and pap smear, $175.
Condoms, to protect against STDs, $36 per year for two boxes.
Vagisil, because itching is real, $6 for one tube.
Urinary tract infection relief, about $40.
Yeast infection, $90 for screening and $17 for Monistat.
Grooming, either $190 for shaving or $315 for waxing.
Toilet paper, $144 more than a man would spend.
Added up, that’s between $2,472 and $2,597, depending on how you take care of your HAIR DOWN THERE.  That also doesn’t take into account any $50 morning-after pills or $15 pregnancy tests.

Now I don’t feel so bad that you get free drinks everywhere that you go ladies. It balances out in my book!
