Ladies, you spend all this time putting on make up and doing your hair in special styles so that you can look nice on a date. Well let me be the first to tell you, you are wasting your time! Either we aren’t going to notice the hair or we are going to be turned off by the 8 lbs of junk you poured into it to make it stay that way. The editors of “Redbook” have found 4 grooming habits that most ladies actually do and it’s turning off the men in your life. You may be surprised at what you read after the jump!
#1.) Using Self-Tanner. Everyone knows it makes you look orange, so it’s kinda strange how many women still use it. Most guys prefer a more natural look, even if you’re really pale.
#2.) Using Too Much Hairspray. Sometimes it’s NECESSARY to use half a can. And if you’re just going out with your girlfriends, it’s fine. But if you’re going on a date and think the guy might be coming HOME with you, don’t use too much. Hard, sticky hair isn’t much fun to run your fingers through.
#3.) Tweezing Your Eyebrows. If you’ve got a uni-brow, by all means pluck away. But TOO much plucking is a turn-off. And NO ONE thinks it looks good when you pluck ALL your eyebrows then draw them back on.
#4.) Too Much Lip Gloss. I’m not sure about this one, and if YOU think you look good in lip-gloss, keep using it. Apparently guys just don’t like it when you slather it on, because it ends up rubbing off on them.
