The Parents Television Council has gone a step further in trying to removeHoward Stern from “America’s Got Talent” this season. They have fired off a letter to all of the shows sponsors threatening them to cut ties or face their wrath. They feel Stern will corrupt America’s children with his provacative ways.
In the letter, PTC cites Stern’s violent and crude language as reasons to boycott the show, quoting his comments on former “American Idol” winner Fantasia Barrino: “Hey Fantasia, you’re not getting little boys hard. Nobody’s beating off to you. Little boys want boners. They want a Britney Spears or a Rihanna.”In the past PTC has threatened shows like MTV’s “Skins” and NBC’s “The Playboy Club” and both shows were later cancelled. However they didn’t get nearly as many viewers as “America’s Got Talent” does. We will see what the response to the letter will lead to.

These people are ridiculous. I hope the same people trying to get Stern booted don’t watch TMZ, soap operas or Keeping Up With the Kardashians, that’s much worse for people. Our society is truly a joke. I’m guessing these are Southern Baptists????
