There was a big uproar last week about Subways’ Footlong sandwiches being only 11 inches long. Many people took to the web to show them measuring the subs and all of them were about 11 inches. Subway took all week and weekend to release a statement about it and when they finally did, it was lame.

Subway says that the term “Footlong” is just the name of the sandwiches and not meant to be a measurement. Lame right? Good cover Subway.
