Free apps that I find I think are cool and want to share!
Well since I couldn’t find any “Leap Day” themed apps, why not a jumping app! It’s kind of like leaping right? Your free app of the day is MEGA JUMP and its a game where basically you have to jump up really really high and get all the goodies like coins and power ups and stuff. It’s pretty addicting so BEWARE!
If you’re into Foursquare, or checking in places on Facebook you’ll probably like this new app! It’s called FORECAST and it allows you to tell people where you are GOING to be and at what time. As sort of a way to organize with friends on a moments notice, you can post where you will be in the future and have your friends meet you there! They can tell you that they are going to be there by hitting the “Me Too” button on the Forecast. It also allows you to post it to Facebook and Twitter, group chat in the app and you can recieve Foursquare points for your check in as well. Could be the next big thing, get it before your friends and you will be the cool kid!
This is one of my favorite apps because it makes me feel Artsy! It’s called Dash Of Color and it allows you to make certain things in your photos appear in color and others to remain in black and white. You can have a lot of fun finding cool things to bring to life and stand out in your picture. Available for Android and Apple and it’s 100% Free! Go have fun!
I wish I would have discovered this app before I went on like 6 different planes but OH WELL. Today’s free app is called “Crackel” and it allows you to stream TV and movies for absolutely free. Not of course they aren’t going to give you the new movies for free but they do have some great classics like “Talladega Nights” that you can watch at the push of a button. So if you are a traveler or have alot of down time and want to watch TV on the go, then I reccomend this app! Read more about it after the jump!

I’m the kind of nerd that needs to have all my album covers on my iPhone so that when I scroll through them they look pretty. So don’t be surprised that I love this new app I found called ‘Call Screen Maker” Which does exactly what it says it does. Instead of having NOTHING show up when your friend calls, why not something cute or scary or funny!? You can make whatever you want for them and have it appear when they call you! Well of course I had to find something Valentine’s Day related for an app. Now I don’t get these kinds of apps but they are a huge hit among app users. It’s called Happy Talking Cupid and i originallyI thought this was just going to be another Talking Tom The Cat like app that just repeats everything I say, and essentially thats what it is. Although, it does have several other pretty cool features that come with it. Like give it a shake and it will rain little hearts. You can tickle him make him laugh. Plus! You can take a picture with Cupid and send it to a friend. Download the app for free now!
Today’s free app is called APPYGRAPH. Basicall you can create and customize E-Cards from your phone. For a limited time this app is free with a bunch of cute designs for Valentine’s Day. Send them instantly (in case you forgot to pick up a card). Now you can use the excuse “Not only do I love you baby, but I’m also doing my part to be green in this chaotic world of ours” …It could work… Anyway, here are the features….

Today’s free app of the day is called GIFBOOM and it lets you create your own GIF’s or basically moviing set of pictures. It has a really easy to use interface and you can send it anywhere! You can text it, email, facebook, tumblr etc. If you get bored at work easily then I suggest you download this app it will keep you distracted for a good 20 minutes! I have been messing with it all day long. I always wondered how people were making these things and now I am one of them! You can be too! It’s available on Android and Apple products for FREE!
Todays free app of the day is MAPQUEST, sure it seems like an obvious one however, did you know that it is the only navigation app I could find that is 100% free? No trial periods, no subscriptions NOTHING! And it gives you turn by turn instructions. I found that my Map app that comes standard is a good enough navigation system, but now with them banning texting and driving in Kettering I needed something that would actually SPEAK to me. So I found this app! Plus is has some cool extra features that make it more personal check em out after the jump!
