As regular people we never get to see behind the scenes on movies before they are made. Who knows which actor almost got what iconic roles but either turned them down or had too full of a schedule. Some movie turned out better, some worse but we never even knew they were up for them. Bill Murray is one of those guys! He has been up for some EPIC roles but for one reason or another didn’t get them. For example, did you know they were originally going for a campy Batman in the 80’s? Until director Tim Burton was hired, Bill Murray was going to be Batman. Instead Burton went with a darker version of the caped crusader and signed Michael Keaton. Another movie Murray almost starred in was about a boy who loved his “mama” and wore “magic shoes” until they broke off while he was running from bullies. Yup! Bill Murray was almost Forest Gump. I Am Irresistible To The Ladies

Now these are the kind of stories I like to find on the web! A survey by YourTango.com asked people what makes people of the opposite sex irresistible.  Surprisingly, both men and women agreed that physical appearance WASN’T the most important thing.  Sense of humor was voted the quality that makes people irresistible.  Self-confidence was next.  That doesn’t mean that women completely ignore physical features on guys.  For years the ladies have flocked to my side in hopes to catch a glimpse of my attention. Well that’s the way I see it anyway, they could have just been around because they were trying to win some prize I wasn’t going to give to them on the radio. Or because they thought I was their ‘bestie” when really I had other plans. Either way they flocked ok? Science Breaks Down “Cool”

Well if that isn’t an oxymoron then I have no idea what would be. A bunch of science geeks got together to figure out the formula for being “cool.” Nothing cooler than that right? Thankfully these scientists have the spare time on their hands “Why are we trying to cure stuff? Let’s find out why Skylar was the most popular kid in my high school, now THAT’S Science!” So basically what they did was follow me around for a month so they could see how cool people live. Wait, you’re telling me that I just talk into this end and I can hear what my mom says on the other end of the phone? Is that new in iOS 6? Believe it or not we don’t really use our phones as phones anymore. We all knew this but they finally did a survey to show how much we use our phones for different things. Using it as a phone actually came in 5th place! And you’re saying to yourself “well yeah of course, everyone texts now” NOPE! Texting actually came in 7th place. App Of The Day 6/29

It’s been a while since I have done an App of the Day but I am really impressed with this one and thought I would share! If you haven’t already downloaded Google Chrome on your iPhone yet then I highly recommend it. Especially if you use chrome as your main browser. If you don’t know, you can log into Google Chrome on your desktop and then use that to log into any chrome on any computer and your bookmarks will appear on top. It’s the same with the app, I logged in and BAM all my favorites were right there! I didn’t have to revisit and save them as a bookmark. So I tapped a couple just to compare the speed to Safari and Opera and it’s just as quick if not faster. Plus the layout is easy to use and well thought out. I had no trouble using it right away, like I had been using it the whole time. So if you are looking for a good browser on your iPhone and don’t know who to trust. You can trust me. I was skeptical and heard that it was slower than Safari but when I use it it works way better! And to top it all off, It’s FREE!

I’m not sure how to type that creepy twilight theme song but here we go.. DO do DO do DO do Do do DO do DO...that works right? In my opinion it would be selfish for us to think that we are the only planet with life in the universe, however, I don’t think they have visited us. What do you believe? Well according to a survey, 36% of you are CERTAIN that UFO’s exist, 48% of you aren’t sure and 16% of you think there is NO CHANCE they do. It’s good to see that the majority of Americans are indecisive…shocker. Do people believe that there is a Men In Black type organization that keeps people that have spotted aliens quiet? The Perfect Plane Ride.

My perfect plane ride would be having a giant plane all to myself with a couch and a 100″ TV to play video games on. Of course there would be an awesome sound system and several hot flight attendents with a passion to serve me. Ahhhh… that’s the LIFE right there. Unfortunately that would just be having a personal jet. This is a question about commercial airlines. What would your dream feature be for a regular flight with other people. Can’t think of anything? Your Shoes HATE You.

Yes, I do really own Superman Converses. Don’t judge me….or DO judge me? Maybe this is why the ladies love the shoes so much (I’ll never understand women). According to a new study, people can tell A LOT about you just from your shoes. It’s sounds like a stereotype thing but in this case their judgements are 90% right. In this study from Kansas City they showed that you can tell someone’s age, gender, income, political beliefs and personality traits all by their SHOES! Best, Teacher. Ever.

Forget Superman, this guy is my new hero! I’m pretty sure this teacher is going to be fired after all the parents officially register their complaints because their kids feelings were hurt (awww poor baby!) but I hope that doesn’t happen. An English teacher named David McCullough Junior works at  Wellesley High School in Boston gave an epic speech to the graduating class with such key phrases as “You’re not special. Even if your parents have told you that every day.  No one’s going to hand you anything in the world.  So if you want anything from this point on, you have to earn it” and that’s just the beginning of this wise mans advice. Watch History Unfold

We all want to make our mark on history in some way. Well today isn’t that day…instead history will happen around you for your to see and be jealous of, fun right? What I’m getting at is there is something happening today called the “Transit of Venus” and it’s basically like an eclipse with the planet venus instead of the moon. Except the whole blocking out the sun thing that you imagine when you think of an eclipse. This will be a small dot on the sun that you CAN see but wouldn’t probably notice if I didn’t just tell you it was going to happen (see picture above… no thats not a freckle…it’s Venus). The history part is that this only happens every 100 years or so. If you miss is today you will most likely never see it again because the next time it will happen will be the year 2117. It happens in 2’s and this is the second time. The first was June 2004 but then it disappears for a century. It will happen at 6pm EST today and you can see it with one of those eclipse viewers.
