A theater in New York is about to debut a play that uses PEARL JAM’S music to create a, quote, “rock and roll adaptation of’ Hamlet‘.” All of the songs used in the play will be live versions of Pearl Jam songs. It’s a modernized version of“Hamlet”, of course, that takes place on the Lower East Side of New York. And when Hamlet sees ghosts, it’s while he’s tripping. The play is only running for this weekend at the HERE Theater in New York. If you love Shakesspeare AND Pearl Jam then this is probably going to be the best show of your life. |

Have you been on edge lately? Now these are the kind of stories I like to find on the web! A survey by YourTango.com asked people what makes people of the opposite sex irresistible. Surprisingly, both men and women agreed that physical appearance WASN’T the most important thing. Sense of humor was voted the quality that makes people irresistible. Self-confidence was next. That doesn’t mean that women completely ignore physical features on guys. For years the ladies have flocked to my side in hopes to catch a glimpse of my attention. Well that’s the way I see it anyway, they could have just been around because they were trying to win some prize I wasn’t going to give to them on the radio. Or because they thought I was their ‘bestie” when really I had other plans. Either way they flocked ok? Your Boss Sucks
No matter what you think of your current boss, compared to this guy he SUCKS! That is unless YOUR boss is taking you and your fellow employees on an all expense paid 4 day trip to Majorca. Which is an island beach resort off the coast of Spain. If he is then I take it back, your boss is pretty awesome. Most likely though, he didn’t, hasn’t, won’t anytime in the near future be that cool.
Creditsafe is a finance company in Europe, and recently the owner decided to reward his employees for helping the company achieve 15 years of steady growth. So he’s taking them on an all-expenses-paid vacation. 46-year-old Cato Syversen will pay almost half a million dollars to take ALL 500 of his employees on a four-day trip to Majorca.
Kind of makes you want to quit your job huh? And YES that is a picture of Majorca.
How Men Annoy Women
I’m sure you are expecting a HUGE list of things from clipping their toe nails and smelling them, to saying they know how to fix that broken thing in the house when really they have no clue. Well thankfully they narrowed the list down to just the main ones. A new article in Cosmo broke down the top things that men do that annoy women and what they can do about it. Usually I read these articles and laugh because it’s hilarious how little women actually know about men. In this case though, it’s pretty dead on. So I thought I would share for the ladies. Jared From Subway!
Got a chance to talk with Jared Fogle from the Subway commercials about what he was doing in Dayton. He attended the Dayton Dragon’s 5K as well as went and talked to the summer camp kids at the YMCA about childhood obesity and some ways to stay in shape as they grow up. Also discussed some of his mistakes growing up and the challenge he still deals with everyday with his weight. He talks about starting The Jared Foundation as well as his book “Winning Through Losing” that gives some tips that he used while he was losing the weight that can be adapted for those of us who need to shed a few pounds. Every once in a while the world is shaken up by a great invention. Recently is was the Doritos Locos Tacos and Taco Bell. Great minds came together to bring us a tasty new way to eat tacos. Well there may be ANOTHER way to eat a taco that is equally as brilliant! No one is selling these yet but I’m sure they will be here soon enough. A blogger named Nick (great name BTW) came up with a new taco shell to fix that age old problem of losing the goodness inside the taco to the floor or your clothing. It is simply called the TACONE and it combines the world of the waffle cone and the delicious contents of a taco. Don’t Eat That!
Growing up there was one thing I refused to do, and that was work with food. That includes fast food places and restaurants. I don’t want to know what happens back there EVER. I just want to enjoy my food and believe that ignorance is bliss. Luckily I got my wish and stayed as far away from them as possible. If you are like me and would just like to enjoy the food you eat from fast food places and not know too much, you may not want to read any more of this post.

U Spel Funnie
Nothing really annoys me more than people correcting my spelling on my social media sites. It just urks me for some reason. It’s the same with when I talk and don’t say something correctly. Dude, calm down. I’m not giving a speech or writing a thesis so as long as the message is communicated then the goal was accomplished. “I think you meant YOU’RE” oh shut up. You obviously understood the post right? Thats the whole point of communication! So after saying that, it pains me to say that you should probably watch the way you post on Facebook. Why? Put Your Hands Down
I’m not sure how this study was done since no one really talks in person anymore, well i guess you can do it over skype and facetime but that would just make you even more annoying. I’m talking about hand gestures. Coming from a spanish mother I know all about talking with your hands! Watching her and my aunt talk in spanish was pretty entertaining, even though I don’t speak spanish I could follow along pretty easily by the way they moved their hands. Although, I never did catch one of them throwing up the air quotes, or using the wink and the gun. (“you can’t give the guy the wink and the gun and not give him the job!” …Carlton from Fresh Prince…nothing? Moving on.) There are plenty of other hand gestures that are SUPER annoying so they did a survey in Britain to find out the top 10. Be sure to check them out and if you do any of them STOP THAT!
