Not A Morning Person

I am definitely not what you would call a “morning person” so I have to take time to wake my brain up before I can get moving. Laying in bed and watching TV helps but it still takes me about 2 full hours before I am completely awake. I just don’t understand how people can pop up at 4am and be all jolly by 4:30. Your Brain Wants You Drunk!

Apparently tossing a few drinks back daily may be good for your brain. Also, don’t exercise too much and sleep 7 hours a night. Sounds like a great life right? Well according to a new study these things are good for your brain.

For every extra hour of sleep you get, up to seven hours, your speed and accuracy on test questions goes up 4%.  Once you sleep MORE than seven hours though, your scores actually go down.
