You know how you always see things and wonder why no one ever thought of it sooner? Well, you may not have known that you wanted one of these awesome hovering DeLorean’s but YOU DID! This is probably the hightlight of my month, knowing that this exists somewhere. It may not fly very fast but it definitely looks REALLY cool. Thankfully someone knew to shoot a video of this awesome remote controlled quad-propeller Back to the Future iconic car flying around! Watch it and weep a little after the jump.

Free App Of The Day 3/6

I really like this app! It’s called WALLIT and when ever you go somewhere they create these “walls” and you can see what other people have posted while they were at the same place you are. You can leave your mark on the places you visit! For example, you go to watch UD play and there is a wall for Wallit users that you can post about what you’re seeing “oh he scored!” Each place only has ONE wall so it doesn’t get all confusing. App Of The Day 3/2

At first I thought this app was not going to be able to live up to it’s description, then I tried it this morning while I was walking to work and by golly, it’s actually REALLY cool! It’s called SNACKR. If you are too busy to read a bunch of stories in the morning while you’re driving to work, or getting ready this app is perfect! What it does is it reads you brief summaries of top stories from a bunch of different magazines and websites. A seemingly kind British gentleman is the computer voice that updates you on your daily news. There is a “5-Minute Snack” that gives a quick rundown of the top stories, or you can customize which articles in reads to you. You just click once and he keeps reading! I use bluetooth and it makes it really easy to do what ever I’m doing and listen to the latest news. Only for the iPhone right now, and it’s definitely worth a download!

I’m the kind of nerd that needs to have all my album covers on my iPhone so that when I scroll through them they look pretty. So don’t be surprised that I love this new app I found called ‘Call Screen Maker” Which does exactly what it says it does. Instead of having NOTHING show up when your friend calls, why not something cute or scary or funny!? You can make whatever you want for them and have it appear when they call you! The Future is HERE!!

I’m sure you know of the famous “Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi” scene in Star Wars and wondered when we were going to be able to have 3-D projections like that in our society. You didn’t? Well I did! Either way, it appears there have been some insane advances in that technology. In fact, they can really do it! Its not the greatest picture quality but it’s the first projection that doesn’t use a screen. Don’t believe me? Well I have a video of it so THERE! Check it out after the jump!

Hoverbikes Are Real…Almost!

Yup, someone finally did it! Not some crazy car company, not some scientist in a lab, just some regular dude (Super NERD!) decided to make a bike that hovers! Chris Milloy an Australian Engineer says that when his bike is finished it will be able to reach 10,000 feet and travel over 170 MPH. I hope this guy isn’t nuts, I wanna see some flying stuff already! Check out more pics of the prototype (that really flies) and learn more about the hoverbike.
