It’s been a while since I have done an App of the Day but I am really impressed with this one and thought I would share! If you haven’t already downloaded Google Chrome on your iPhone yet then I highly recommend it. Especially if you use chrome as your main browser. If you don’t know, you can log into Google Chrome on your desktop and then use that to log into any chrome on any computer and your bookmarks will appear on top. It’s the same with the app, I logged in and BAM all my favorites were right there! I didn’t have to revisit and save them as a bookmark. So I tapped a couple just to compare the speed to Safari and Opera and it’s just as quick if not faster. Plus the layout is easy to use and well thought out. I had no trouble using it right away, like I had been using it the whole time. So if you are looking for a good browser on your iPhone and don’t know who to trust. You can trust me. I was skeptical and heard that it was slower than Safari but when I use it it works way better! And to top it all off, It’s FREE!

Father’s Day Gifts To Avoid

Perhaps you have been waiting to buy your dad a gift until I posted this list to help you decide what you should get him. Most likely that’s not true but we are going to pretend anyway. Well here is it! The list you have been waiting for since you remember it was Father’s Day this weekend. Sometimes dad can be hard to shop for because he always says that all he needs is the 3 “S’s” (Sleep. Sex. Silence.) and he will be happy. Wouldn’t we all. I know, big shock right? The reason I decided to tell you this wasn’t because I am feeling a little “dark” today, it’s really because they have come out with a pretty interesting fact about when you are most likely to DIE. What makes it interesting is that it’s most likely to happen…on your BIRTHDAY (Lame!) or at least in the days surrounding it that any other day of the year. I won’t even get to have cake, and what’s the point of a birthday with no cake. Some scientists in Switzerland did a study of over 2 millions people and came up with some interesting statistics. Mom Is A Cheater!

You better make sure you are getting your wife something good this year for Mother’s Day. Even if she isn’t a mom yet, you better make her feel like she is! Well unless you WANT her to cheat on you the next day. A new study has come out from AshleyMadison.com which is a website where married people can go to cheat on their significant others. They have found that more women sign up on the day after Mother’s Day than on any other day of the year. Could this be a coincidence? It could, but are you willing to risk it? It may not be a romantic holiday but it shows your woman how much you really apprecite them.

You still got time to hit up a Hallmark on the way home and pretend you planned it the whole time!

It’s apps like this one that make it worth paying for a smart phone. It’s called KEY RING and we have all been at our favorite store and forgot our little rewards card to get that extra discount on things. Well you can keep them all on your phone now! With this app you simply scan the card and tell it what it is. When you need it, you pull it up on the app and *BEEP* rewards recieved. Available for iPhone, Android and Blackberry.

If you don’t like the camera app that came with your phone then you should definitely give this one a try! It’s called CAMERA AWESOME and it has all the features your stock app does with so many more! Like one-touch facebook and twitter sharing. Also you can edit it with filters and frames and do what the app calls “Awesomize” it. As you can see in the pic above, it makes a difference! It’s free for the iPhone so go get it!

It’s been one of those days where you just want to kill some one right? Well, instead of going to jail or dying in a valiant last stand against the cops. Why not just download the app “Zombie Gunship” and kill HUNDREDS of people! They deserve it too, they are trying to eat your friends. Blow them up with some sweet missles of take them out with your 50 cal. No matter how you do it, it’s a good time! Did I mention it’s free? However only for the iPhone right now.

Today’s Free App of the Day is “Draw Something” If you haven’t downloaded it by now then you should jump on this bandwagon. It soared to the top of the most popular lists on both Android and Apple. It’s basically Pictionary. You have to draw something and send it to a friend, then they have to guess what it is you’re drawing. Sounds easy right? Well it’s tough doing it with your finger! The format is a lot like words with friends, where you can put your word down and the other person can take their time putting the next word down. Give it a try! It’s Free!!

Today’s free app is simply called REMOTE and it’s one of my favorites. I am a lazy person, and I will sit in my bed all weekend without feeling guilty about it. Occasionally I will want to hear some music instead of watching TV so I reach over and grab my iPhone. Through Wi-Fi i can control my itunes on my desktop. You can raise and lower the volume, see your entire music library and choose which songs you want to hear. It’s the ultimate LAZY app. If you have Apple TV you can control that as well. Right now, it’s only on iPhone.
