Even though I buy the big protective cases for my phones I still wouldn’t let anyone drop it from SPACE! They must have a lot of confidence in their case OR they don’t care about the phone they are dropping and can afford to buy another (Some of us can’t do that!). Either way, they attached it to a balloon and sent it flying, just to prove that their case could take the hit…will it make it?

Believe it or not we don’t really use our phones as phones anymore. We all knew this but they finally did a survey to show how much we use our phones for different things. Using it as a phone actually came in 5th place! And you’re saying to yourself “well yeah of course, everyone texts now” NOPE! Texting actually came in 7th place. There all always tons of rumors floating aroung about the next generation iPhone. I have found that for the last 3 concepts they have said the screen was going to be bigger but it never happens. So I’m not sure how much you can trust this one but it came with some cool concept photos. If this is what it looks like then put me down for 2 please! According to the Wallstreet Journal Apple has ordered screens from it’s Asian suppliers measuring “at least 4 inches diagonally” and according to the pictures they are expecting a new body style as well. Ok, I get that Angry Birds is an addicting game! I play it while I’m on the air all the time but, do they really need to make a cartoon about it? 52 episodes of an animated Angry Birds series is in the works and will be released in the fall. I guess that’s better than the movie they are planning that has been postponed for now. You can expect that in 2015 though. I didn’t know people actually like the characters in the game that much. I just look at them as bolders with eyes that I need to kill the green ugly things. Beyond that, I have no attachment to the voiceless characters. Am I wrong? Do you LOVE Angry Birds and can’t wait for the show to come to your mobile device?
Today’s free app is simply called REMOTE and it’s one of my favorites. I am a lazy person, and I will sit in my bed all weekend without feeling guilty about it. Occasionally I will want to hear some music instead of watching TV so I reach over and grab my iPhone. Through Wi-Fi i can control my itunes on my desktop. You can raise and lower the volume, see your entire music library and choose which songs you want to hear. It’s the ultimate LAZY app. If you have Apple TV you can control that as well. Right now, it’s only on iPhone.
So we all know that iCloud is the latest and greatest from Apple, which makes everything you buy from iTunes available on all your Apple devices. What the world is wondering is “what about the music I didn’t buy from iTunes” and I have to say, that’s a very good question. The answer? iTunes Match. This service will take your music library and match it against their 18 Million songs it their music store. Whatever songs it can match up, you will have access to. Unfortunately there is a $25 annual fee for this service, however, if you need access to everything at anytime, there is an app for that.
Attention all Blackberry users! The one excuse you had for not owning an iPhone is now a thing of the past. With the new iOS 5 announcement Apple has introduced iMessage. Which is basically the same as your precious BBM, with that as well as the new iCloud service, there really is no reason left to own a Blackberry. I even have a personal message from Steve Jobs to all Blackberry users. He says “Your Welcome” … Hey it’s my website, I’m allowed to be bias.
The White i-Phone 4 is finally going to be released tomorrow! What? Tracking system in the new iOS4 software? Ahh forget about that, its a pretty white i-phone! Apple will release the white i-phone 4 at the same price as the black one that has been out. So how do you distract people from your problems? Give them stuff! Did it work on me?….what problems?
A former employee of Apple stumbled across something in the iOS4 update that keeps track of where you’ve been for the last year! What does this mean? Who can access this information?
