You thought you were being slick when you slipped off your wedding ring and went into your favorite bar didn’t you? You weren’t counting on your cunning wife predicting that you would eventually try such a devious thing were you. So if you can’t tell from the picture above, there is a new wedding band that you can buy that will leave a mark on your loved one, even if they happen to lose it down the sink (Riiiiiiiiight). The ultimate honesty tester would be to get this ring for your loved one and not tell them! Then, not only can they never ask you why it leaves a mark (because they have to take it off to notice) but they won’t be able to cheat on you either! Lets be honest. There are some relationships that we see that we look on in awe. “How did they find a way to make it work so long?” and “They must REALLY love each other” are the things we say when we see someone celebrating their golden anniversary. It just goes to show that there are some people who can still do “until death do us part.” This is NOT one of those times. In fact, this should make you realize that no matter how much you may love your significant other EVENTUALLY you just get tired of them there ALL THE TIME. After 115 years of marriage, 2 giant turtles at a zoo in Autria have called it quits. The marriage really started to go down hill when the female turtle BIT a chunk out of the males shell. Now they can’t stand the site of each other and the zoo has announced they are getting “divorced” now. Proof that even in the turtle world…bitches BE crazy!

Could your relationship live up to the scientific knowledge of the 1920’s? You rememeber the 20’s right? Segregation, women just started voting, REAL Coke! Well the  “Smithsonian Magazine” dug up a 1924 issue of a magazine called “Science and Invention”, and found a four-item LOVE TEST.  It was supposed to scientifically predict whether a marriage would succeed or fail. Apparently even when you ladies were barefoot and pregnant there were still marriage problems, and I thought that was the perfect life. See if you would pass the test after the jump! (WARNING: Scientist in the 20’s were kind of weird)

Gwen’s Tragic Kingdom

Gwen Stefani from the band No Doubt and her long time husband Gavin Rossdale of Bush may be on the rocks. According to a source, Gwen may be considering a “trial seperation” because she doesn’t feel like she can trust him anymore. “Things have gone from bad to worse and they don’t know how to fix it. They’ve been through a lot and while Gwen’s putting on a brave face for the sake of the kids, she’s not sure she can save their marriage,” a source told British magazine Closer. Their relationship was rocked when a paternity test revealed Gavin had previously fathered Daisy Lowe with ex-girlfriend Pearl. Courtney Love also claimed that she’d had an affair with him. Since Gavin is going on a 6 month tour with his band they may give seperation a try.

Eventually, that person you have been dating for 10 years in going to want to move-in with you right? Some of us have never lived with another person before (since mom and dad) and would have a hard time adjusting to everything. When you “share” a living space with someone things are no longer where YOU want them to be but where BOTH decided.

You relationship is doomed to fail if you never learn the word “compromise” especially when you decide to move-in with them. Tomorrow is February 29 AKA Leap Day and traditionally it’s the day that women are supposed to propose to their guys! So if she plans a “special” dinner tomorrow night you may want to brace your self. Luckily, there was a study done to find out how many women may be planning to do just that.
