It seems like just the last 10 years that tech has really taken over our lives! Although Youtube and Facebook feel like they have been around forever to me. I don’t know what I would do without tech in my life other than be bored all the time and most likely have better eyesight. I came across some crazy tech facts that are pretty interesting and at the same time mind blowing to think about. Especially since I remember having to make room on my phone so I could get new text messages. Plus the iphone I had last year I had to download an APP to shoot video! Now they are making commercial with them! So tech is moving fast and I love it! Seriously, how does anyone get ANYWHERE without GPS?

Wait, you’re telling me that I just talk into this end and I can hear what my mom says on the other end of the phone? Is that new in iOS 6? Believe it or not we don’t really use our phones as phones anymore. We all knew this but they finally did a survey to show how much we use our phones for different things. Using it as a phone actually came in 5th place! And you’re saying to yourself “well yeah of course, everyone texts now” NOPE! Texting actually came in 7th place. TGI Friday’s? …..Really?

With all the “check-ins” now on our smartphones, it was only a matter of time before we started wondering where the most popular places in the world are. So that’s what Facebook did. They analyzed all their data to find the 25 most popular landmarks in the world. Among them you find the Colosseum in Rome, Wrigley Field in Chicago and oh yeah, T.G.I. Fridays in Norway (WHAT?) First problem I have with this is that T.G.I. Fridays in more popular in Norway than at any other location in America. Really? Has no one tried their onion rings? I mean, seriously. Delicious. The second problem I have with this is that I have no idea where Norway is and therefore should not be allowed on the list, and/or access to Facebook. When you really think about it though, how can you be mad? They apparently love Fridays and wish that they were in a place that always felt like it was Friday once you got inside. Who doesn’t enjoy Fridays? Ok, Norway. I’ll allow it. If you want to see the rest of the places in the world that are popular then just click the jump!

If we are anything in this country, it’s American through and through! Even when the shoplifting statistics from the National Retail Federation releases a list of the most shoplifted items in the US, we find a way to make sure they know what we are all about in ‘Merica! If this is sounding anti-American then you are reading it wrong. I’m all about the Red, White & Blue trust me! I happen to think this list is hilarious and just so it’s out there, I am very proud to be an American. Now that you have your “I can take a joke” hats on, let’s all laugh at this!

Stop Being A Wuss!

A lot of people, including myself, are scared of dying in a plane crash, or being biten by a deadly spider or snake, getting shot or stabbed and more. I am here to tell you some good news!
