When Did I Get Fat?

According to reports plastic surgery is up and they are blaming Facebook. Apparently some people have never looked in a mirror, so when they get a picture of themself put on their Facebook wall they FREAK out! “I didn’t know my face looked like it had been attacked by a hive of Ugly Bees” or “when did I get more chins than stomachs?” OR “Maybe I should stop going to the tanning booth cause Im starting to look like an orange EWOK” These are questions that plague us everyday (ok, I made those up but I’m sure it’s something like that) So to save your face from ending up like Lindsey Lohans or worse Mickey Rourke’s, here are some helpful tips to make you look better from your friends at Skype.

Just Sleep Naked!

With it being as hot as it has been lately, my AC has been working all night and all day long. Still it won’t go below 75 in my apartment and for me to sleep it needs to be at least 65 degrees. Otherwise I will toss and turn and be grumpy in the morning. It has been an issue with me for about a month and I just can’t seem to cool down so I can go to sleep. So usually I just strip and sprawl out in front of the fan like a dog! Thankfully I found this article that gives me some helpful tips on how to get cool at night. Bad With Names…


If I were to admit to having any flaws (which I don’t) I think the main flaw I would say I have is forgetting people’s names. Seriously in the first 5 seconds after you have introduced yourself to me, I’ve already forgotten your name twice. It’s so bad that my boss tested me on everyone’s names I work with after 4 MONTHS here and I failed. I knew 2 peoples names in the entire building! I walked around most of the time saying “Hey you.” Thankfully I finally cracked down and learned everyone’s names (after he humiliated me by walking me into everyone’s office and telling them I had no idea what their names were) and now I can address people by their names! Be More Creative

Do you ever feel like you’re not creative enough at work? We all have days where the brain just does NOT want to cooperate. You find yourself staring at the computer for 2 hours making no progress what so ever on the project that is due the next day. It’s hard to be creative sometimes and you wish that someone would just help you squeeze out those juices of greatness. Not A Morning Person

I am definitely not what you would call a “morning person” so I have to take time to wake my brain up before I can get moving. Laying in bed and watching TV helps but it still takes me about 2 full hours before I am completely awake. I just don’t understand how people can pop up at 4am and be all jolly by 4:30. Ugh, allergy season is making its way to town and it’s certain to make the tip of my nose red and sensitive. Plus I have to deal with all the complaining from co-workers about how crappy they feel. All the sneezing and coughing and SNOT (so much SNOT!). I have to strategically wear a long sleeve shirt because I don’t believe in blowing my nose. Not that I don’t like it, I’m just lazy and don’t want to get up from the computer to go to the bathroom every 10 minutes.
