SECOND ATTEMPT! So I’ve already written this blog once but the internet decided to go out and delete the whole thing (yay…) So let’s try this again! What is the world coming too honestly? When are people going to step up and say something? Let me explain, A woman in Florida was arrested for cheering at her daughters graduation. Yup, you read that right. ARRESTED for cheering. The parents were warned not to cheer for individual students, which means that we should all cheer equally for everyone. REALLY? Let’s be honest, I don’t know you, if your kid was to cure cancer right now and you told me. I still wouldn’t cheer for them. Why? Because I don’t LOVE your kid! I didn’t deal with his crap for the last 18yrs trying to keep them off drugs and out of the abortion clinic. Thats just the truth, you feel the same way if you admit it or not. It’s not like the mom was excessively cheering either, all she yelled was “Yay! My Baby did it!” and she was escorted out in handcuffs and had to pay $250 to get out on bail. Thats not all! A kid in Cincinnati was denied his diploma because…
his family was “excessively cheering” as he walked across the stage. In order to receive it now, the principal says he has to do 20 hours of comminuty service. WHAT?! At what point do the parents step up and tell these “every child gets a trophy” people to shut up and stop screwing up everyone’s children because you don’t want to take the time to be a parent.
If my kid gets graduates and I am invited, your damn right I’m going to make some noise! Especially since every kid wants to be knocked up by the time they are 16 so they can be a reality star, or are addicted to bath salts and trying to eat peoples faces off.
The only reason I can think of that this rule exists is because some crappy parent went to the school board and said “my kid is going to be sad when no one cheers for him but all his friends get cheers. That’s not fair. My poor baby.” Seriously he’s 18yrs old. Maybe it’s time he starts to deal with the real world. No one is going to be there cheering him on while he’s making my fries at McDonalds. He better start getting used to it or he is going to off himself by the time he’s 25.
If you can think of any reason that what I’m saying is wrong, feel free to express your opinion in the comments. I truly beleive in everyone having their own beliefs and I don’t condemn anyone who wants to try and change my mind. Good luck though!
